A significant amount of trust is placed in us and our responsibility for data security and technical reliability. For this reason, we have gone beyond what is strictly necessary to secure our infrastructure. In these areas, too, we simply want to be one of the best.

Telecommunikation und IT infrastructure

Our 99.98 % availability guarantee is achieved through various measures. For example, we have a fully redundant Deutsche Telekom connection provided through two routes to two exchanges and have agreed a top-priority 24-hour maintenance contract. All our remote data transfer connections are backed up by dial-up function. In addition, all our executive staff are involved in the emergency procedures and emergency drills are regularly carried out.

Power supply

Our whole building is supplied by its own transformer and the whole electrical and lighting system is based on an IT-supported solution. In addition, the power supply for the EDP system is triple redundant thanks to a generator system, a central and a local uninterrupted power supply.

Building security

For reasons of security we can only say so much here: our building is regularly inspected by our own security personnel, the British Airways security department, the employer's liability insurance association and the supervisory authorities. We will be happy to provide more information about our other security systems and arrangements upon request.

Process and data protection

For us, it goes without saying that all matters relating to data protection law are handled in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the relevant European Directive. Moreover, as a principle, we strive to work in close collaboration with our customers' data protection officers. All employees sign a declaration that they will adhere to the Data Protection Act and that they will use the IT system solely for business purposes.

Automatic full data backup is carried out regularly by the company at 24-hour intervals, and our data backup tapes are kept in a safe that complies with fire safety category DIS 120. Additional monthly backups are stored in a bank safe deposit box and all business-critical systems are fully redundant.
